The market data of new energy vehicles in the United States has also come out. The following is a monthly summary made by Argonne Labs:
●In February, the US market sold 59,554 new energy vehicles (44,148 BEVs and 15,406 PHEVs), a year-on-year increase of 68.9%, and the new energy vehicle penetration rate (LDV) was 5.66%.
●A total of 59,564 HEVs (15,763 vehicles and 43,801 LTs) were sold in the US market for hybrids in February, up 10.2% year-on-year. Fuel cell companies sold a total of 241 FCEVs last month (cumulative 431 in 2022).
Looking at the overall data, 112,829 vehicles have been sold in the United States in 2022. With the rise in oil prices, the growth in demand for this segment is more obvious in the United States.
